A proposed budget for the 2017-2018 fiscal year was presented Tuesday, May 30 to the Golden Age Nursing Home District board of directors.
Glenda Tietjen, administrator of the Golden Age Living Center in Stover, presented the budget for the board to review, for action at its next meeting.
The budget projects revenue of $3,784,116 and expenditures of $3,253,851. This includes wage increases for all staff members, based on their position and performance evaluation.
Financial Manager Joanne Johnson reported the district’s tax account had a balance of $398,507.24.
Recent expenditures included purchasing a new employee time clock and its software, plus three new computers compatible with the new software.
The facility’s census was 55, with two residents in the hospital and two pending admissions.
The next nursing home board meeting is scheduled 9 a.m. Tuesday, June 27 at the living center in Stover.
