The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office has named a person of interest in an armed robbery of the Subway restaurant, located in the West View Shopping Center at the northwest corner of the intersection of Highway 5 and Highway 52 in Versailles.
According to information released Monday, May 15 by the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office, the robbery occurred the morning of Saturday, May 13. The suspect, David Matthew Rasco, is described as a white male 35 years of age.
Rasco is believed to be operating a maroon 2006 Dodge Ram short-bed pickup bearing Missouri license plate number 6DW-821.
Rasco has an active no-bond warrant for probation violation. Morgan County Sheriff Norman Dills said Rasco should be considered armed and dangerous.
Dills said deputies were able to obtain limited usable video in the case. A possible, unconfirmed sighting also was reported in Sunrise Beach.
Dills reported no one was injured in the incident but a female Subway employee reported having a gun pointed at her.
The amount of money taken in the robbery was not disclosed because the case is still under investigation.
Dills warned, “If you observe Rasco, please do not approach him and contact the nearest law enforcement agency or dial 911.”
