Three players on the Stover Lady Bulldogs soccer team have been named to the Missouri High School Soccer Coaches Association Class 1 All-State team for the 2017 season.
A pair of freshmen, defender Jenna Bellis and midfielder Gracie Thompson, were voted second-team all state while senior goalkeeper Shelby Jackson was named to the honorable mention team.
Stover posted a 9-12 record this season, the most wins in a season in the history of the program.
Emma Brune of Saxony Lutheran and Corin Campbell of St. Vincent shared the Class 1 Co-Player of the Year award. Kassi Ginther of Summit Christian Academy is the Offensive Player of the Year. Kaiti Schnurbusch of St. Vincent was named the Defensive Player of the Year. Courtney Brewer of St. Vincent is the Goalkeeper of the Year. Voted Coach of the Year among private schools was Caitlin Pistorio of St. Vincent and the Coach of the Year for public schools is Kirby Keth of Fatima.
St. Vincent defeated Summit Christian Academy, 2-1, to win the Class 1 state title.
